Is Uconn still that team?
Cincinnati Bearcats ended Uconn’s winning streaks, but unfortunately not their hopes of winning the big east. Uconn is 4-1 in the conference and WVU is 3-1. Now it could end up in a 4 way tie with WVU, Cincinatti, Uconn and Pitt all have 2 losses. But thats if and only if Uconn and WVU lose one more time before the end of the season, and Cincinatti and Pitt both keep up their streak. You never know these days in college football. I think people have been to optimistic once Uconn hit 8-1 after beating Rutgers. The talk was Uconn’s true test will be against WVU. Well like my college football coach always told us you have to win the next game before you can worry about winning the game after that…If we were Uconn he would have said “you have to get to 9-1 before you can get to 10-1.” So lets not overlook the game against syracuse next weekend. Both teams are coming off of big losses. Bottom line this will be a big game because it will be a matter of who can bounce back and can Uconn finish strong for the first time. Good luck to both teams, may the better team win.
